The stamps that inspired the environment

Because my projects biggest inspiration are the stamps, this particular environment is based on those two colourful ones. Therefore, the smoke on the stamp became the round rocks, and the whole idea of the crystal cave is inspired by the other stamp.

I had a problem with visualizing how the cave is going to look like. In my primary sketch, the cave had no structure. I decided to ask Hristina for help with the composition and colours. In her design, she defined the shapes in the background, and this way added the structure to the whole environment. Hristina also suggested using the halftone effect on my backgrounds, so they look more like the stamps that inspired the animation.

All of those ideas were so much help for me. Her design was a skeleton for the environment, and I decided to use halftone in every background.
